This one-of-a-kind ring features an unheated Montana sapphire set in solid 10k white gold. The sapphire measures approximately 9 mm x 7 mm and has a soft blue color with natural internal texture, visible crystal character, and flashes of icy light.

I cut the sapphire and designed the setting around this exact stone. The shape is organic rather than calibrated, giving the ring a natural, individual feel. The 10k white gold setting follows the outline of the sapphire with sculptural prongs, a raised protective frame, and an open lattice band.

The band is delicate and wearable, tapering from approximately 2 mm to 1.5 mm. The ring is a US size 7.

This piece has a cool, ethereal feeling. The pale blue sapphire, white gold, and open lattice structure make it feel light and refined while still carrying the raw character of a natural Montana sapphire.
