A softly colored natural spinel rests horizontally across the finger in this one-of-a-kind 10k rose gold ring.
I turned the stone sideways to emphasize its irregular shape and give the ring a broader, more sculptural presence. The raised head lifts the spinel above the band, allowing the setting to feel open and dimensional rather than pressed flat against the finger.
Six individually placed prongs follow the uneven outline of the stone. Their irregular spacing is part of the design, responding directly to the shape and structure of this particular spinel.
The open lattice band adds texture and detail while keeping the overall ring light and organic.
