A softly colored pink spinel is set in a one-of-a-kind 10k rose gold ring designed around the stone’s natural shape.

I cut the spinel to preserve its irregular outline, then created the setting to follow that shape closely. The warm rose gold brings out the stone’s pale pink, lavender, and blush tones, while the open lattice band adds texture and detail without overwhelming the stone.

This ring has a low, close-fitting profile rather than a raised head, giving it a compact and integrated feel on the hand.
