Hand Cut Montana Sapphire Sterling Silver Pendant - Dreamcatcher Necklace item 1004

This one-of-a-kind pendant features a Montana sapphire that I personally selected from rough and faceted by hand, then set into an original sterling silver (non tarnishing alloy) design created in my studio.

Inspired by the form of a dreamcatcher and reimagined in silver and sapphire, the open lattice structure allows light to move freely through the stone while framing it with an organic, sculptural setting. Each element was designed to work together — from the proportions of the sapphire’s facets to the negative space of the silver framework.

It is approximately 22mmx20mm and the Montana Sapphire is about 8.5mm across. The sapphire’s deep blue tones shift subtly with the light, revealing depth and character that can only come from a stone cut by hand rather than mass-produced. Because both the stone and the setting were made specifically for this piece, no two can ever be the same.
