Montana Sapphire Pendant in Sterling Silver, Portal Cut, 6.18 Carat, Blue Green Stone, One of a Kind

This pendant features a hand-cut Montana sapphire with a deep blue-green tone and strong internal structure visible within the stone.

Rather than appearing bright or uniform, the color shifts subtly with light, revealing layered inclusions and natural formations that give the stone a sense of depth and movement.

The sapphire measures approximately 9 mm and weighs 6.08 carats, giving it a solid presence while remaining wearable.

This piece is cut in my “Portal Cut” style, a combination of raw, smooth, and faceted surfaces shaped to follow the natural structure of the stone. The surface interacts with light in a more directional way, revealing different aspects of the stone as it moves.

The setting is built in solid sterling silver as an open, sculptural lattice that allows light to enter while maintaining a secure, protective structure. The form follows the contours of the stone rather than forcing it into symmetry.
