The girdle was left intact, preserving the original outline of the stone. The sapphire was cut with a low profile to preserve color and maximize its face-up presence on the hand.

The setting was designed specifically for this sapphire, with the structure shaped to support and protect the stone while allowing light to interact with its surface and internal texture. No molds or stock settings were used. This ring exists as a single finished piece and will not be reproduced.
