Hand Cut Montana Sapphire Ring in 14K Gold | One of a Kind Cornflower Blue Sapphire

This one-of-a-kind ring features a hand-cut Montana sapphire set in solid 14k yellow gold.

I selected the rough sapphire, cut the stone, designed the setting, and completed the finishing work. Each stage was done specifically for this individual stone, resulting in a ring that cannot be exactly reproduced.

Unlike a traditional transparent sapphire, this gemstone displays layers of natural crystalline structure, soft cornflower-blue color, and intricate internal patterns that shift with changing light. In close view, the stone reveals a landscape of textures and inclusions that give it the appearance of a miniature painting suspended within the sapphire itself.

The setting was designed around the stone's unique shape, with flowing prongs and an open lattice structure that provides security while allowing light to move through the gem. The warmth of 14k yellow gold complements the cool blue tones of the sapphire and highlights the natural complexity within the stone.
