Hand Cut Montana Sapphire Ring in 14k Gold | Unheated Sapphire Engagement Ring | One of a Kind Artisan Ring | Size 8.25

This one-of-a-kind ring is built around a 2.98 carat unheated Montana sapphire that I cut from rough and set in 14k yellow gold.

Rather than forcing the stone into a standard calibrated shape, I preserved the natural character of the sapphire and developed the design around its unique form. The result is a ring that feels organic, architectural, and impossible to duplicate exactly.

The sapphire displays deep blue-green tones that shift dramatically depending on lighting conditions. Internal structures and natural inclusions create movement within the stone, giving it a depth that changes as it is worn.

Unlike many of my lower-profile designs, this ring uses a raised setting that allows a band to sit beside it more comfortably. The open gallery beneath the stone allows light to enter from multiple directions while creating a lighter visual profile.

I cut the sapphire, designed the ring, and completed the finishing work myself.
