This one-of-a-kind ring is built around a natural Montana sapphire that I hand cut and set in sterling silver.

Rather than chasing perfect clarity, I cut this sapphire to preserve the landscape already inside the stone. Fine inclusions and natural growth features catch and scatter light, giving the gem a quiet depth that changes throughout the day. In some lighting it appears icy blue. In others it takes on soft silver and slate tones with flashes of deeper blue.

The stone is hand faceted, preserving its natural outline while creating broad facets that interact with the sapphire's internal character rather than masking it.

The setting was designed specifically for this individual sapphire with my signature open lattice gallery and a comfort-fit band that tapers from 3 mm to 2 mm.

I cut the stone, designed the setting, and finished the ring myself.
