This one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring features a hand cut blue-green Montana sapphire with my portal cut style. The sapphire has a smooth cabochon-like face, faceted edges, and natural internal texture that gives the stone a deep, watery glow.

The sapphire measures approximately 6.5 mm x 7 mm and is set in sterling silver with an organic lattice band. The band measures about 2 mm wide, tapering to approximately 1.5 mm, giving the ring a delicate but sculptural feel.

I cut the stone, designed the setting around its shape, and finished the ring by hand. The silver has an organic, lightly ancient character, with polished raised edges and recessed detail throughout the lattice.
