This ring features a hand-cut Montana sapphire set in a one-of-a-kind sterling silver setting. The stone was cut to follow the natural character of the rough, resulting in subtle variations that reflect the material rather than forcing symmetry. The original outline of the stone has been preserved, allowing its natural form to remain intact.

The sapphire shows layered color, shifting between deep green and blue depending on the light. Within the stone, natural inclusions create a sense of depth and movement, more like looking into a landscape than across a surface.

The setting was designed specifically for this sapphire, measuring approximately 7.5 x 6.5 mm. The structure is shaped to support and protect the stone while allowing light to interact with its surface and internal texture.

No molds or stock settings were used. This ring exists as a single finished piece and will not be reproduced.

The sterling silver band includes fine structural detailing and was finished by hand. The band tapers from approximately 3 mm to 2 mm. The overall form emphasizes material, proportion, and durability over ornament.
