Hand Cut Montana Sapphire Ring – Blue Teal Sapphire – Sterling Silver – One of a Kind – Size 5.75

At the center of this ring is a hand cut Montana sapphire with a deep blue to teal color and strong internal depth.

The color shifts between cooler blue and richer teal depending on the light. Fine internal features catch and scatter light, creating a layered effect that gives the stone movement rather than a flat appearance.

The sapphire was cut by hand, with the top faceted to bring structure while preserving the natural character within the stone.

The setting was designed to hold and frame the stone with a more contained, basin-like form. A slightly lowered bezel surrounds the sapphire, giving it a grounded feel while allowing light to enter from above. Subtle prong adjustments refine how the stone sits and how it interacts with light.

The open gallery allows light to pass through the stone, enhancing its depth and internal texture.

The band features a sculptural lattice structure that has been individually refined and burnished by hand. Raised edges catch the light while recessed areas create contrast and depth. The surface carries a soft satin finish that complements the cooler tones of the stone.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece. I cut the stone and completed all finishing work myself; only the casting process was outsourced.
