large 5 carat Hand Cut Montana Sapphire Pendant in 14k Yellow Gold

This pendant features a hand cut Montana sapphire set in solid 14k yellow gold. The sapphire was selected for its deep blue tone and natural internal character, with inclusions left visible as part of the stone’s story.

The stone weighs approximately 5.15 carats and measures about 10 mm across, giving the piece a strong visual presence.

The setting was designed specifically for this stone and cast in gold, then carefully finished and set by hand. An organic gold form surrounds the sapphire, holding it securely while allowing light to pass through from both front and back. The open back design brings out the depth and variation within the stone.

Each piece is made individually in my studio. No molds or stock settings are used, and this design will not be repeated.
