Hand-cut gemstone set in a sculptural silver setting. Each piece is one of a kind, designed to be worn as art rather than ornament.

This pendant features a hand-cut gemstone that I selected for its natural depth and internal character, then shaped by hand and set into an original sterling silver design created in my studio.

The stone is held within an open yet protective lattice of silver, built to follow the contours of the gem rather than impose a rigid frame. The structure allows light to enter from multiple angles while maintaining a sense of enclosure, creating a balance between exposure and shelter.

Every aspect of the setting was designed in direct response to the stone itself—from the placement of the prongs to the proportions of the surrounding framework. The silver structure is not decorative alone; it exists to support, protect, and echo the form of the gem it holds.

As the pendant moves, subtle shifts in color and transparency emerge, revealing the quiet complexity that comes from a stone cut by hand rather than mass-produced. Because both the gemstone and the setting were created specifically for this piece, no two can ever be the same.
