A one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring featuring a hand cut green Montana sapphire with a 10 mm x 9 mm footprint. The stone has a soft forest-green glow, natural internal texture, and subtle flashes of light within the crystal.

I cut the sapphire and designed the setting around its natural shape. The ring is made in sterling silver with an organic lattice band, sculptural prongs, and a comfort-fit profile that tapers from approximately 3 mm to 2 mm.

This one-of-a-kind ring features a hand cut green Montana sapphire set in sterling silver. The sapphire has a 10 mm x 9 mm footprint and a soft, misty green color with natural internal texture, subtle color variation, and small flashes of light within the stone.

I cut this sapphire with my standard hand cut finish, preserving its natural character rather than forcing it into a calibrated commercial shape. The setting was designed specifically around this stone, with sculptural prongs, an organic lattice band, and a silver frame that follows the sapphire’s irregular outline.

The band has a comfort-fit profile and tapers from approximately 3 mm to 2 mm, giving the ring enough presence to support the stone while still feeling wearable. The sterling silver has polished raised edges and darker recessed details, giving the piece an organic, ancient-relic feeling.
