Green Montana Sapphire Ring in Sterling Silver | Hand Cut One of a Kind Gemstone Ring

This one-of-a-kind ring features a hand-cut Montana sapphire set in sterling silver.

I selected the sapphire rough, cut the stone, designed the setting, and completed the finishing work in my studio. The ring was built specifically around this individual gemstone, allowing the shape and character of the stone to guide the final design.

The sapphire displays layered green tones with visible internal structure that shifts as the ring moves through changing light. Rather than aiming for a perfectly uniform appearance, I preserved the natural character of the stone to create depth and visual interest.

The setting combines an open architectural framework with a tapered comfort-fit band, creating a balance between strength, lightness, and everyday wearability.
