This butterfly began as a personal piece. After my mother passed away in 2014, I wanted a simple way to keep her smile nearby while I moved through my day. I designed this butterfly to gently hold a photo on my refrigerator, and over time it became a small daily reminder of someone important.

The butterfly’s wings are formed from an organic lattice structure inspired by natural growth patterns. The piece was designed digitally and then cast in metal, creating a lightweight sculptural object that also functions as a strong magnet.

The butterfly is fitted with a strong neodymium magnet on the back, allowing it to securely hold photos, notes, or small artwork on your refrigerator or any magnetic surface.

It holds the corner of a photo, note, or small artwork while adding a quiet, sculptural presence to your space.
