This one-of-a-kind ring features a hand cut Montana sapphire set in sterling silver. The sapphire measures approximately 5 mm across and weighs around 1 carat. It has a deep blue-green color with natural internal texture and subtle flashes of light.
I cut the sapphire and designed the setting around this exact stone. The sterling silver setting follows the shape of the gem with sculptural prongs, polished raised edges, and an open lattice band.
The band has a delicate comfort-fit profile and measures approximately 2 mm wide, tapering to about 1.5 mm. The ring is a US size 7.
This is a smaller, more wearable Montana sapphire ring with the same organic character as my larger statement pieces. It has a quiet, ancient-relic feeling while still being comfortable enough for everyday wear.
