This one-of-a-kind sterling silver ring features a hand cut blue Montana sapphire weighing almost 2.5 carats. The sapphire measures approximately 7 mm across and has a deep blue color with natural internal texture, visible crystal character, and flashes of teal-blue light.

I cut the sapphire and designed the setting around this exact stone. The sterling silver setting follows the stone’s organic shape with sculptural prongs, polished raised edges, and an open lattice band.

The band has a delicate comfort-fit profile and measures approximately 2 mm wide, tapering to about 1.5 mm. The ring is a US size 7.
