Blue Green Montana Sapphire Ring in 14k Yellow Gold, Hand-Finished Lattice, One of a Kind

At the center of this ring is a natural Montana sapphire with remarkable depth and internal character.

This sapphire shifts subtly depending on the light. In warm light it reads as deep forest green, while in cooler daylight it moves toward blue-green and teal, revealing layers of natural inclusions and internal texture. This subtle color shift is characteristic of Montana sapphires and gives the stone a sense of movement rather than a fixed, static color.

The stone was hand-cut from rough to preserve its natural character rather than forcing it into a standard commercial shape. The result is a unique faceted form that allows light to move through the stone while still revealing the internal geology that makes Montana sapphires so distinctive.

The sapphire measures approximately 9 × 9.5 mm and weighs about 4.5 carats.

It is set in solid 14k yellow gold, held by four sculpted prongs within a structural lattice gallery that lifts the stone slightly above the finger, allowing light to enter from multiple angles and illuminate its interior.

The band tapers from approximately 3 mm to 2 mm and features a comfort-fit interior designed for everyday wear. The organic lattice detailing continues into the shoulders of the band and has been individually refined and burnished by hand so that raised surfaces catch the light while recessed areas create depth and contrast.

The gold carries a soft satin character that complements the natural complexity of the sapphire without overpowering it.
